UI/UX Designer

HappyByte has an amazing opportunity for a multi-disciplinary designer to collaborate on user experience, brand identity, and user interface designs for our customers worldwide. You can expect to be working primarily on digital projects for web and mobile.

The UI/UX Designer works in close collaboration with the Product Managers and the Developers to create interfaces that align with usability best practices. Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. You can expect a great degree of autonomy and opportunities to use your artistic ability on products that reach millions of people daily.

Your responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields

  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications (incl. games)

  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)

  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

We’re looking for someone who has:
  • Practical experience in designing IT products

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role

  • Portfolio of design projects

  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Figma, InVision, Sketch, Balsamiq)

  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Knowledge of css / HTML is an asset

  • Team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

  • Good time-management skills with ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously

  • Good command of the English language
